The XDS electronic differential lock is an extension of the familiar EDL function. However, XDS responds not to loss of traction but to the unloading of the front wheel on the inside of the corner when cornering fast. XDS applies pressure from the ESC hydraulics to the inside wheel to prevent it from spinning. This improves traction and reduces the tendency to understeer. The level of pressure applied ranges from approximately 5 to 15 bar. The impression when driving is similar to that of a limited-slip differential in toned-down form. The precise, one-sided build-up of brake pressure makes cornering even sportier, quicker and more accurate.

Click the "03-ABS" button.

Then click "Security Access -16" button.

Enter the security access key "20103" and click "Do it" button then clock "OK" button.

Click "Adaptation-10" to open it. Please find "Expanded electronic differential lock" from the pull down menu list and select it.

Select the new stored value "not activated" from the pull down menu list of new value.

Click the "Do it" button.

Click the "Yes" button.

Click the "OK" button.

Confirm that the Stored value has changed to "not activated".

Click the "Close Controller, Go Back -06" button.

TT-RS 8J Front Brake Rotors cooling baffle plate and hardware.

Remove the front left and right brake heat shield and install TT-RS baffle plate for cooling front brake rotors onto the left and right front control arms.

These items part number are;

Left: 8P0863149B x 1

Right: 8P0863150B x 1

Bolt: N10422203 x 2

Nut: N90761102 x 2

Spacer: 7mm x 6

Remove all ribs on the inside, as shown in the figure.

Make a drilled holes for installing onto the front control. Check the drilled position in advance at temporary fitting to the front control arms. And cut the corner. as shown in the figure.

Cut the corner. It's for the bolts of ball joint. as shown in the figure.

Install them to onto the front lower arm using hardware. As shown in the figure.
